All ready to go!
Here I am all ready to go on this big adventure to Kazakhstan to find my new baby girl! I'm leaving on Oct 25 - just about 2 months after the first time I was supposed to go! I'm flying through Frankfurt and then on to Almaty. After that I'm on to Shymkent - that's where I'll meet my little girl! This process is very different from when I adopted Kira in China. In China they matched adoptive parents with the babies, but here, I get to choose - which I'm sure will be very hard! They are supposed to show me two or three baby girls who are between 8-12 months and of Asian ethnicity and then I get to choose. So as soon as I've found Angelina, I'll start uploading pictures. I then get to visit her daily in the orphanage. I also won't be bringing her home with me - they have the 2 trip system of Russia. But my agency has an escort option, so about a month after I get back, someone with the agency will bring Angelina here to the states.
I guess that's about all for now. I've finally got all my paperwork and everything else ready to go. I will try to add to this blog daily - or at least as often as possible. And I will definitely be uploading lots of pictures! Take care and I'll see some of you soon - others hopefully sooner than later :)

Good Luck Robin.
Best of luck, Robin. I know it's been quite an "up and down" journey for you so far, but will be all worth it when you hold that darling baby in your arms!
Robin:
All the Best - you are so mavericky! :-)
